Charlie Ferrara is an award-winning actor known for his work on-stage and on-camera. Born and raised in New York he holds a finance degree (U. Maryland) and was previously an investment banker. Charlie grew up on a steady diet of films and his parents’ vinyl, through which he developed the deep love for story that defines his career. Charlie attended conservatory at T. Schreiber as the recipient of the Roxi Sorina Memorial Scholarship. He starred as Stephen Belber (et al.) in Schreiber’s production of The Laramie Project by Moises Kaufman and Tectonic Theatre Project.
Charlie’s been recognized for his work as Neil in Clarence Cuts Loose by Jimmy Cork (Best Supporting Actor, NJ International Short Film Festival). His work in How to Tie a Tie (also by Cork) also led to festival nods. He recently appeared in Sniff and Sneeze by Gabe Josephs, which is a finalist at multiple independent film festivals and will hopefully soon begin its festival run.
Charlie’s upcoming projects include: Meeting Mr. Burns by Noelle Brown, for which he’ll be playing a lead role and executive producing; RailRiders by Jordan Britt, which he’ll also be starring in and executive producing; and Little Buddy, his current passion project and debut narrative short film as a writer.
Outside of acting, Charlie is an athlete, a model, a musician, an unapologetic Yankees fan, a great cook, and (best of all) an uncle.
